Chief Dennis Pings noted that in 2014 the forty-two men and women of Victor Volunteer Fire & EMS tallied nearly 2,500 person-hours in selfless dedication and service to the community of Victor and Ravalli County. During that period 1,288 hours were expended responding to 249 calls to 911 for medical emergencies, structure fires, gas leaks, wildland fires, grass/brush fires, controlled burns, motor vehicle collisions, water rescues, downed power lines, and responding to mutual aid calls from neighboring districts. The members also dedicated more than 1,200 hours in weekly training exercises to ensure continued proficiency and enhancement of emergency response skills and technologies.
